The Royal Exchange

"Great food, great menu, great local produce, good atmosphere, and good service!"

Only minutes from the showgrounds.

The Royal Exchange is a lovely country pub where you can while away the time eating and drinking with your friends.  Warm yourself next to the log burner or enjoy the amazing views from our heated decked area.

The Royal Exchange was established in around 1855 and is situated on the site where it is said, Cavalier and Roundhead prisoners were exchanged during the English Civil War, hence the pub’s name!

The pub which is now a Freehouse changed hands in 2012 and belongs to a local farming family who has lived and worked in the area for over 90 years.
